We use Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) to target acne, severely sun damaged skin and precancerous lesions (actinic keratosis). AminoLevulanic acid is applied to your skin for approximately 60-90 minutes in-office followed by an IPL (intense pulsed light) treatment. Impressive improvements in acne and sun damaged skin can be expected. Series of 3-4 recommended every 3-4 weeks.  Often covered by most PPO insurance plans for some conditions.
