In this rather simple procedure, small unsightly blue and red veins are injected with a sclerosing solution, which causes them to collapse and fade from view.  The procedure may also remedy the bothersome symptoms associated with spider veins, including aching, burning, swelling and night cramps.  Multiple treatments over several months are usually needed.  As bruising is a possibility with this procedure we advise you do this in winter time.
